PROFILE

Rafael Fernando Feldmann focuses his practice on Environmental Law and Public Law. In the environmental aspect, his experience involves 18 years of experience, with more than 300 financial operations (M&A, IPO, debt, among many others) involving legal-environmental diligences. He works with a wide range of industries (agribusiness, food, energy, mining, oil and gas, sanitation, chemical industry, medicines, technology, retail, among many others). Rafael also works in the coordination and sponsorship of claims in the litigation-environmental sphere in all the sectors mentioned above, both in the administrative and judicial spheres, having acted in more than 400 cases in this regard. Rafael is constantly mentioned in the press and named as a reference in the sector by several reputable publications in the legal market, such as Chambers Latin America (annually since 2010). In the field of public law, Rafael also has experience in oil and gas regulation in Brazil, having acted in lawsuits and consultations and also as a legal representative of operators before the regulatory body of this industry (ANP). His experience in this area also involves interaction with other agencies and public entities, such as ANTAQ, MAPA, MB, ANVISA, MJ, TCU, ANAS, DAEE, DPF, among others.

  • Certified Internal Auditor for Internal Systems of Environmental Management, by Bureau Veritas Brasil.
  • Specialist in Public Law from Fundação Getúlio Vargas.
  • Master (LL.M) of Laws from IE Law School (Madrid, Spain), nationally validated by UFSC, with a dissertation on climate change and publication of the thesis in the magazine Carbon and Climate Law Review
